"I studied graphic design, but my passion has always been more focused on illustration and animation, and that is why I ended up working in the game industry. I gained a lot of experience in the field, but I always felt that I was missing the fundamental knowledge and training to boost the quality of my work. Then after some research, I found Syn Studio, and I decided to go back to school to study in the Full Time Intensive program. Besides all the inspiration that I got from professors and other students, I remember my first days in Montreal when I decided to go and check out the school before the classes started, just to get a better idea of where it was located and a few other details. The first impression I got of Syn Studio was through their staff, who were super kind, warm and helpful, giving me a bunch of tips and suggestions about the school and living in Montreal. It's still a nice memory that I can go back to. And of course the winter vernissage was great! Syn Studio provided me with a lot of tools to become a better artist and helped me get rid of bad habits that I got due to the lack of proper training. It also helped me by placing me in a nice environment, where I was often challenged to create more unique pieces rather than focusing only on the craft."

"I chose Syn for two main reasons: Syn is a great school with a big focus on Concept Art and because Canada is an amazing country. I've had very good memories at Syn with a lot of the amazing new friends that I've made there, but I think the best memory was finally creating my first portfolio. Before I did the Full Time Intensive program, I barely had anything to put in a portfolio and the classes at Syn really helped me get on track."
